For the Paris Olympics (2021–2024), the sports ministry has invested Rs 39.18 crores in archery. The Indian government funded 24 overseas exposure trips and 41 national camps under the Target Olympics Podium Scheme (TOPS).

Starting on July 25, the Olympic archery competition in Paris will run through August 4. India will begin competition in all five categories: mixed team, men’s and women’s teams, women’s individual recurve, and men’s individual recurve.

Quota spots for Paris 2024 have been secured by six Indian archers: Dhiraj Bommadevara, Pravin Jadhav, Tarundeep Rai, Deepika Kumari, Bhajan Kaur, and Ankita Bhakat. The archers arrived at the Paris Olympic Games Village among the first after a period of training and acclimatization in Compiegne, France.
