The relationship between Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy is at an all-time low

Why is it that a seemingly random report about Mike McCarthy and Jerry Jones has surfaced in the middle of June, just as we gear up for another week of summer?

Even though I realize this is all probably just normal drama and that these sites are trying to make us read more into it than we already are, I think Mike McCarthy’s statement that he is “fed up” with Jerry Jones has some merit.

Regarding the drama at the Star during the offseason, a former Cowboys employee stated, “It is crazy what’s going on.” “And nothing really changes about it ever.”

Is This Tension Actually There?

That would also aggravate me greatly!

Some of the folks I’ve spoken to have mentioned that McCarthy is starting to grow a little tired of it, despite the former Dallas Cowboys personnel member’s statement that “McCarthy’s doing it the best he can.” It’s challenging. I’m sorry for Dak. Dak is a tremendously good quarterback in my opinion, one who can lead a team to the Super Bowl. He has a lot of obstacles to conquer.

We don’t know this guy’s identity yet, but Tyler Dunne of Go Long, a blog covering the most recent NFL news, said that he said all of this. He wouldn’t make this up, either—he was a former NFL reporter.

Is it 2024?

Jerry Jones has previously done this. Jerry resigned Jason Garrett despite the fact that he went 13-3 and lost in the playoffs while letting Garrett coach the last year of his initial contract.

Admittedly, I am not endorsing Mike McCarthy, but let me state this. Jerry, you need to give him something to work with since you didn’t let him go following the Green Bay loss.

CeeDee Lamb is your greatest offensive player; at the very least, consider signing him. Well, that’s a start.

We don’t know what will happen to Dak Prescott, but let’s be honest—2024 might be the last season in which this team even makes the postseason.

It has been a strange offseason. Jerry always wants the Cowboys to be discussed, positively or negatively.

Ultimately, it appeared like a sluggish news day, and someone needed to draw in some readers. McCarthy is undoubtedly a little irritated with Jerry’s offseason management, but what is he to do?

If the #Cowboys go 12-5 again and don’t make it to the NFC Championship Game, then yes. They shouldn’t retain Mike McCarthy. https://t.co/Qo0aWNaNlb

It’s okay if you decide not to sign any high-profile free agents. To ensure they don’t hold out, how about having your top player on both sides of the ball?

Not that he can even do that. McCarthy mentioned Micah Parsons’ absence from the facility a few weeks ago, and his time lost is detrimental to the new Mike Zimmer defense.

In conclusion, I predict McCarthy’s departure even if this club finishes 12-5 but misses out on the NFC championship game.

This club needs to play a meaningful game at some time.
