PISCATAWAY, New Jersey – With the announcement of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award on Tuesday, Rutgers women’s golf was honored for their exceptional efforts in the classroom.
With a 3.900 GPA in 2023–24, the team ranks fourth in the nation and first in the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights are recognized for their achievements with this award.
With a peak of No. 3 in the nation in 2018, RU has been recognized on the WGCA’s top-25 rankings seven times in the previous eight seasons.
All seven players on the squad were named WGCA Division I All-American Scholars earlier this month, demonstrating Rutgers’ continued status as one of the nation’s top academic teams. Furthermore, Lucrezia Rossettin and Leigha Devine were also recognized as Big Ten Distinguished Scholars.
