Kenny Leseur keeps up his successful streak in Port Royal

I keep gaining more and more confidence the more I play and compete, which is good for me.

After winning yesterday’s fifth round of the Gosling’s Moongate Tour at Port Royal Golf Course, Kenny Leseur continued his incredible winning streak to three rounds. The best amateur scored a two-over 73 to win by one shot over closest competitors Nick Jones, Chris Smith, and Eric West, who tied for second. The Royal Gazette quoted Leseur as saying, “I played pretty well; struck the ball well all day and probably only hit two bad shots.”

 

I missed all six of my opportunities to make a birdie within ten feet. Everything was the same for everyone because the greens aren’t the best right now. Leseur continued, “I am confident in my game and look forward to continuing the run I am on after winning three straight.” After finishing third in the Bermuda Amateur Men’s Stroke Play Championship last weekend, West achieved his second podium result in five days.

 

The former Tour de las Américas competitor noted, “Kenny played a solid back nine and made birdie on eighteen.” “The fifteen-foot slider I was trying to tie just wouldn’t break into the hole. “I didn’t play well last week at the Stroke Play Championship, and I didn’t play well today either. “To compete with these guys, I need to improve almost every aspect of my game.” Expert in The leader’s lead was surpassed by Andrew Trott-Francis, who completed the top five.
