This weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix appears to be scheduled in extremely hot weather, so Christian Horner anticipates the “usual people” to be fast.

Severe heat is in store for drivers this weekend at the Hungaroring, which will add even more intrigue to an already exciting weekend.

Mercedes and McLaren have recently closed the gap between Red Bull and them, with the latter taking home the last two races.

Red Bull should have competition from McLaren and Mercedes for the title, based on their recent achievements in Hungary.

Prior to races, Max Verstappen is no longer the overwhelming favorite, and the heat may also be a factor.

Horner told reporters, including RacingNews365, “It will be interesting to see how we perform there; it could get hot.”

“I believe that those who are currently quick will be the typical ones.” The venue is expected to be intriguing.

“I’m sure it’ll be very, very close once again.”

Horner gives Mercedes acclaim
Red Bull and McLaren, in particular, have not changed much since the Miami Grand Prix, while Mercedes really blossomed at Silverstone.

In other words, even the smallest mistakes during qualifying can determine whether you start on the front row or the third.

The head of Red Bull’s team, Mercedes, was commended for their performance in the British Grand Prix, when the German team locked out the front row before Lewis Hamilton won.

“When you’re at the sharp end, it’s all marginal gains,” Horner explained. Silverstone was a fast track for Mercedes.

“They had a front row lock-out and a pole, and they had a strong race—well, Lewis did. which is probably the reason Bono was placed atop the podium.”

Ian and Nick discuss this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix and who the favorites are to win in the most recent episode of the RacingNews365 podcast! The drivers that might succeed Sergio Perez are also mentioned, along with Perez’s future.
