English and Saudi clubs show interest in Nwabali

Stanley Nwabali, the goalie for Chippa United, is apparently being eyed by Saudi Arabian and English clubs.

At the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the 27-year-old made a standout performance and helped Nigeria advance to the championship game.
Rumors of interest in the goalie surfaced due to his performances; Kaizer Chiefs was one of the teams mentioned.
Renowned reporter Fabrizio Romano reports that Queens Park Rangers, a championship team, and Al Ettifaq, a Saudi Pro League team, have emerged as the two clubs following the Super Eagles custodian.
According to reports, Nwabali has drawn interest from the two teams, and Chippa will investigate his future.

The likelihood of Nwabali joining Chiefs seems low, as both QPR and Al Ettifaq are rumored to be interested in him. Amakhosi will find it difficult to compete financially for a player with both a Championship club and a Saudi Arabian team that is flush with cash. The Nigerian goalkeeper was believed to be the ideal long-term replacement for Itumeleng Khune.

In his first game back last Friday, Nwabali gave up a goal as Chippa United and Stellenbosch drew 1-1.

After making 16 PSL appearances and managing to keep seven clean sheets, Nwabali would be eager to maintain his strong play and appealing persona.
