Does Irina Begu deserve to advances to the semifinal

After defeating American Ann Li 6-3, 6-4, Romanian tennis player Irina Begu advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Palermo, Italy, on Friday. She was awarded a total of 232,244 euros in prizes.

54 WTA points and 5,750 euros were won by Jaqueline Cristian.

Zheng will play the fourth-seeded Frenchwoman Diane Parry in the semifinals. Parry defeated her countrywoman Chloe Paquet 7-5, 1-6, 6-4.
