Chelsea slap a hefty price tag on Armando Broja amid interest from Wolves, West Ham and Fulham

The Blues are reportedly seeking more than £50 million ($63 million/€58 million) for their striker, though they are still accepting offers this month, according to The Telegraph. The club is determined to keep Broja in the team and has drawn interest from West Ham United, Fulham, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to reports, Chelsea arrived at their valuation by using Rasmus Hoijlund’s £72 million summer transfer fee from Manchester United as a guide. When determining their demands, they also used Brighton’s £100 million (€116 million/$126 million) assessment of Evan Ferguson. Although it was first thought that Chelsea would only permit Broja to depart in exchange for the signing of a new forward, the team might change its mind if a buyer is prepared to pay the asking amount.

Throughout his 13 Premier League games for Chelsea this season, Broja has only managed one goal. His lone other goal of the current season came in the FA Cup against Fulham.

Chelsea’s two-goal scorer Broja agreed to a six-year deal in September 2022, providing the team flexibility and removing any immediate pressure to sell him for less than his market value. In the event that Broja does depart Stamford Bridge, the Blues will probably look to replace him offensively. But Pochettino will have more alternatives now that Nicolas Jackson from the Africa Cup of Nations and Christopher Nkunku are back from injury.
