Being with her husband Jonathan Owens in Paris for the Olympics excites Simone Biles.

In order to see his wife, Simone Biles, compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, safety Jonathan Owens has been allowed time off from training camp by the Chicago Bears. “The Bears are actually granting him a couple days off from training camp, so he’ll be there, yes,” Biles informed USA Today.”For just a short time.”

Over the weekend, Biles, who qualified for her third Olympic gymnastics squad for the United States, wed Owens in 2023. Despite the fact that the pair has been together since 2020, Owens will never have the opportunity to see Biles compete on the largest platform in the world. Because of COVID restrictions, spectators were not permitted in the Tokyo Games in 2021.

Three days before to the Olympic Opening Ceremony on July 23, the Bears kick off training camp. “Anytime we can show up for one another in support, we just get super excited because our schedules don’t align that much,” Biles explained. “So whenever it does, it’s really important for the both of us to show up in support.” After playing with the Green Bay Packers for a season, Owens, 28, signed a contract with the Bears this offseason.
